Japanese for Children Learn Japanese While Having Fun! ※All of our Japanese programs are for student who is learning Japanese as a second language. Fall 2011 Class Schedule “Tanpopo” Japanese Class for Ages 3-6 In this class, we place special emphasis on building a simple vocabulary, hiragana writing, and introducing Japanese culture through fun activities such as singing songs, making origami crafts, storytelling, etc. Mondays: 4:00-4:45 pm Fall 2011 - [8/22 ~ 1/23] Spring 2012 - [1/30 ~ 6/11] Saturdays: 9:00-9:45 am Fall 2011 - [8/27 ~ 1/28] Spring 2012 - [2/4 ~ 6/9] Saturdays: 10:00-10:45 am Fall 2011 - [8/27 ~ 1/28] Spring 2012 - [2/4 ~ 6/9] Saturdays: 11:00-11:45 am Fall 2011 - [8/27 ~ 1/28] Spring 2012 - [2/4 ~ 6/9] “Tanpopo” class Spring 2012 Tuition: $ 414(18weeks) Tuition must be paid by semester.  Sibling discount: $360 (18weeks) from second child One-time Registration Fee $50 (New Students Only)  “Himawari” Japanese Class for Ages 7-12 In tis class, we emphasize on building simple sentences and a daily vocabulary, practicing hiragana and katakana writing with correct stroke orders, and introducing Japanese culture through fun activities such as a Japanese card game, making origami crafts, watching short movies about Japan, etc.  Mondays: 5:00-6:00 pm Fall-[ 8/22 ~ 1/23] Spring 2012 - [1/30 ~ 6/11] Mondays: 6:00-7:00 pm Fall-[8/22 ~ 1/23] Spring 2012 - [1/30 ~ 6/11] Tuesdays: 5:00-6:00 pm Fall-[8/23 ~ 1/24] Spring 2012 - [1/31 ~ 6/5] Tuesdays: 6:00-7:00 pm Fall-[8/23 ~ 1/24] Spring 2012 - [1/31 ~ 6/5] ※Please contact us if you have any questions about choosing the right class for your child(ren). “Himawari” class Spring 2012 Tuition: $450 (18weeks) Tuition must be paid by semester.  Sibling discount: $396 (18weeks) from second child One-time Registration Fee $50 (New Students Only)  Please read following “Language Class Policy” before you sign up Language Class Policy Click Here for “Japanese for Children : Online Registration Form” Click Here for “Save Your Spot! : $100 Non-Refundable Deposit ★ Tips for practicing Japanese at home with your child!  -Review and practice the vocabulary/sentences/hiragana sheets from the class with your child. If you have a question about the handouts, you can always call or email us.  We'll be glad to answer any questions you may have! -Let your child listen to the CD's that we provide as often as you can! (at home or in a car.)  The best way to learn new words is by listening to music and singing. There will be song numbers to practice on the "Japanese Practice Chart". -Please fill out the "practice chart" regularly so it will be clear to you and your children how much they have practiced. It will also to help manage their  study each week. Your children will feel confident and proud of themselves when they complete their practice charts! (There will be a small prize for students who complete their practice charts ; ) -Let your child watch Japanese Kids DVD's.  There are over a hundred Kids DVD and VHS titles available at Sora. (FREE rentals!)  Please make the most of this opportunity to enhance your child's interest in Japanese! DVD Titles Available at Sora :

In the weekly 45/60minute sessions, our passionate instructors will do their best to introduce new words, sentences, and songs as much as possible. For best results, it will be most helpful if parents can review the materials with your child at home.  No class on following dates (2011~2012):
