This 14 week music course is ideal for motivating young children who are interested in music or playing the piano. The curriculum includes ear training, beat and rhythm awareness, music terms, simple composition, and of course keyboard playing. We provide small keyboards for young children whose hands are obviously not ready for regular size keyboards. This proper sizing will allow the children to develop correct hand posture. At the same time it will develop their concentration, self confidence, and musicianship. By the end of the course, student will have a good foundation for playing the piano and also be able to play three or four simple pieces. In addition, this will give children the desire to have more piano lessons as they grow older!
